On this foray in Sussex we will be hoping to achieve a colourful basket of gastronomic edible mushrooms and truffles by the end of the day. I will show you how to harvest safely and sustainably. After the foray we will prepare and cook these for their best flavours to be appreciated; this will be done on site in an open kitchen in the woods to enjoy the forest flavours under the canopy of beech trees and dappled sunlight, if the weather is kind.
