Monoculture woodlands on chalk provide great fungi hunting grounds, monoculture at it’s best in fact. I will teach you about the woodland ecology, the soil, tree species and ground flora. I will leave you looking at woods in a completely different way; a woodland walk will never be the same again. I will tell you how trees communicate through their root systems and the functions of mycelium.
We will be returning dried truffle to the wild using truffle trimmings not fit for consumption for the kitchen after truffle prep and cleaning. I feel it is my obligation to spread the truffle love for the next generation of trees, their communities and others to enjoy as much as I do.
Delicious fresh soup and bread will be served for lunch with truffle of course - along with other wild samples for you to taste. Please state any dietary requirements
